France shuts Ankara embassy, Istanbul consulate over imminent terror threat

In an unexpected announcement, the French Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that the country's embassy in Ankara and consulate in Istanbul have been closed until further notice due to a security-related alert. The July 14 celebrations scheduled to be held at the embassy and the consulate were also cancelled.
