France shuts down Hamas Al Aqsa TV for incitement

Paris acted in response to a request from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to shut down the Hamas Al Aqsa TV station for anti-Israel and anti-Jewish incitement by removing it from EUTELSAT. Hamas is designated by the EU a terrorist organization, which made the shutdown legal. Al Aqsa was soon back on air by connecting to the frequency of the Egyptian satellite Nilesat.
