France’s Hollande cancels peace conference on Israeli-Palestinian issue
French President Francois Hollande announced Tuesday morning that the peace conference on the Israeli-Palestinian issue that he planned to convene in Paris at the end of this month has been postponed until this summer.
DEBKAfile: The announcement means that the conference has been cancelled, mainly because of opposition by the US. Secretary of State John Kerry made it clear to Hollande that Washington would not participate. Neither Israel nor the Palestinians were invited to the conference.
