French defense minister: 10,000 more troops to be deployed nationwide

At a press conference following an emergency cabinet meeting on Wednesday, France's Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that he had decided to deploy an additional 10,000 troops nationwide due to the country's state of emergency and the recent series of ISIS attacks in France and other European countries. He said 4,000 troops will be sent to Paris and 6,000 are to be deployed in other cities.
