French justice minister resigns over new ‘terror law’

The office of French President Francois Hollande said Wednesday that Justice Minister Christiane Taubira has resigned. The move follows the adoption of a new "terror law" stating that any citizen with double citizenship who is convicted of a terror-related offense will be stripped of his or her French nationality. Taubira is known for her harsh criticism of the policy proposed by President Hollande following the November 13 terrorist attack on Paris.
