French police arrest three minors suspected of contacting ISIS
Three youths, aged 14 and 15, are under arrest and being investigated by the French police on suspicion of being in contact with the Islamic State terrorist organization. The three were arrested in the Paris area after French intelligence succeeded in decrypting messages that the teenagers, who were on a list of terror suspects, had sent to each other using the Telegram messaging platform. The last one of the three was arrested on Wednesday during a raid on a house in northern Paris after the discovery of a connection between him and Rachid Kassim, a French terrorist seen in ISIS videos in which he executes hostages seized in Syria. French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said that France's intelligence services are "working with extreme intensity to identify those we think are likely to carry out an attack." He added that "younger and younger individuals" are getting involved with terror.
