French security forces find rocket launcher during nationwide raids
Raids by French police and military forces in six cities following the terrorist assault on Paris have discovered a rocket launcher, flak jackets, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, 15 handguns and other weapons, French media reports said Monday. The raids took place in Marseille, Lille, Grenoble, Strasbourg, Lyon and Toulouse. No details were given regarding the exact locations or the owners of any of the weapons found. Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said 168 homes nationwide were raided overnight, resulting in 23 arrests and 104 people placed under house arrest.
Meanwhile, in a radio interview, Prime Minister Manuel Valls said there is a possibility of more attacks in the coming days or weeks.
