Fresh Everest avalanche after another 6.7 Nepal aftershock
Kathmandu international airport opened Sunday for incoming foreign aid as a second aftershock of 6.7 magnitude struck Nepal and triggered a fresh avalanche on Mt. Everest. Rescuers continue to dig for survivors in the ruins of the capital. The death toll has risen to 2,500. Local hospitals are unable to care for the many thousands of people injured.
