Gamzu: Don’t be alarmed by rising coronavirus figures

The coronavirus director, Prof. Ronni Gamzu issued an optimistic forecast on Monday. Although the number of covid-19 infections is rising – albeit at a diminishing rate – the seriously ill are slowing, falling by seven to 388 on Monday evening. The patients on ventilators, 112, are also dropping. The number of dead went up, however, by 7 to 612. Gamzu said that in two weeks’ time, we will see the total number of infections also dropping.
