Gamzu warns: Crowd events must stop or else lockdown
Tuesday saw 11 dead, 1,875 new covid-19 infections. Early Wednesday, there were 793 patients in hospital including 377 in serious condition, of whom 119 were on ventilators. Of the 26, 360 tested, 6.7pc came out positive.
The coronavirus czar Prof. Ronni Gamzu warned that if crowd events are allowed to continue and the public persists in shirking tests, it will not be possible to avoid a full lockdown on the country.
