Gantz flies to Washington for Pentagon talks

Defense Minister Benny Gantz departs Sunday night for Washington where he has meetings scheduled with US Defense Secretary Mark Esper and other Pentagon officials. Among the subjects for discussion is a US package for preserving Israel’s qualitative military edge in the region in view of the potential sale of the American F-35 stealth fighters to the United Arab Emirates.
