Gantz: Jerusalem must stay united with “room for a Palestinian capital”

In an interview with the London-based Arabic Sharq al Awsat, Defense Minister Benny Gantz called on Mahmoud Abbas Wednesday to join the latest Arab-Israel peace train and not be left behind. In his view, Israel must not return to the 1967 borders but conduct swaps of territory. As for Jerusalem, the Kahol Lavan leader said: “Jerusalem should remain united – but there is room for a Palestinian capital.”
