Geneva 2 opens in Montreux
The Assad regime’s position on the Geneva 2 conference for resolving the Syrian conflict which opened Wednesday in the Swiss town of Montreux was laid out by two ministers: Foreign Minister Walid Moallem said: "The issues of the president and the regime are red lines… Nobody can touch the presidency.” And information minister Omran al-Zoubai denied there was any civil war in Syria. “The foreign media has been mistaken… The fight is between a government and terrorism.”
