German police thwart attack on Israeli embassy in Berlin
The German prosecutor's office announced on Wednesday that that two young Muslims, about 21 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of planning to carry out a terrorist attack against the Israeli embassy in Berlin as well as other Jewish and Israeli institutions in the city. The suspects are accused of preparing explosives similar to those used for the terrorist attack in Tunisia. The mobile phone of one of the suspects contained files showing he was influenced by ISIS and was in contact with a number of activists from the terrorist organization who taught him how to prepare and plant explosives.
