Germany arrests five Islamic State-linked suspects

German police have arrested five people in northern and western Germany suspected of recruiting fighters for the Islamic State and helping them reach conflict zones, mainly Syria. They also searched a mosque in Hildesheim near Hanover. Among the people arrested, they identified a senior Islamic State imam, 32-year old Iraqi Ahmad Abdulaziz Abdullah, who was known as the “preacher without a face” from his videos calling on the faithful to fight for ISIS with his back to the camera..
