Gibraltar and British marines detain tanker carrying Iranian oil to Syria

Gibraltar police and a detachment of British Royal Marines Thursday halted the Grace 1 supertanker on suspicion of carrying a shipment of crude oil to the Banyas oil refinery in Syria. Chief Minister Fabian Picardo said. “That refinery is the property of an entity that is subject to EU sanctions against Syria.” European sanctions on Syria have been in force since 2011 from the outset of its civil war.

When America tells you not to mess with it, just don’t !

Don’t they ever open a history book, in Iran ?

No, they don’t learn from history. They just lean on their communist buddies to backstop their empty threats against Israel and the West.

Mullahs plan is to annoy EU with possible confiscation of all recent investments in Iran, as a lever for bending their will for new UN atomic sanctions, and against NATO partners future patrolling of the waters of the Strait of Hormuz.

The ayatollahs are in a rush to change their never-washed skirts to fresh, bright brown ones – just in case –
    to save face (and feces…)

This Grace 1 tanker was clearly barely floating.
Too low and too slow, with no grace at all.
They should have sent an empty one!
