Golan Druzes appeal to Israel to open border to their Syrian brethren
Golan Druzes leaders Saturday asked Israeli lawmaker Ayoub Kara to prevail on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the IDF to open the border crossings to Syrian Druze refugees. They say that Friday, refugees from the village of Jabsat Alkashab fled the fighting and reached the border but Israeli soldiers stood in their path. Golan Druzes also appealed for Israeli humanitarian aid to be sent to the villages on Mt. Druze which they report are under Syrian army siege.
