Group of senators lead last-ditch bid to overturn Biden election

Republican Senator Ted Cruz is spearheading a bid by a group of 11 senators and senators-elect to withhold certification of Joe Biden as US president. They are demanding a commission first be set up to investigate President Trump’s allegations of voter fraud. Biden is however assured of a majority for his endorsement.
