Gun battle in Jenin leaves 3 armed Palestinians dead

A Golani unit on a counterterrorism recon operation in the Palestinian refugee sector of Jenin early Friday came under heavy gunfire and flying explosives from a parked Palestinian vehicle. The troops returned the fire, killing three Palestinian gunmen.
A search of the vehicle uncovered two M-16 rifles, a Carlo machine gun and several magazines.
