Gunfire from northern Gaza hits Israeli force; IDF returns fire

IDF vehicles were hit by gunfire from northern Gaza on Thursday afternoon as they were traveling near the Israeli community of Karmia close to the Gaza border. The vehicles were damaged but none of the troops were wounded. The IDF started returning fire shortly afterwards. Loud explosions were heard in the area.
