Gunmen kill at least 16 at Ivory Coast beach resort
Six Islamist terrorists armed with Kalashnikovs Sunday attacked three hotels at the Ivory Coast Grand Bassam Beach, a resort popular with Western tourists, killing 16 people, including Europeans. Social media showed people running away from the beach near the Etoil du Sud hotel with graphic images of dead bodies as security services from the National police and French forces reached the scene. The shooting started at the hotel Koral Beach and continued in nearby establishments, according to the website Ivorian Connection.
