Gunmen kill two Egyptian police guarding Coptic service

Unidentified masked men shot dead two Egyptian policemen who were guarding a Coptic Christian church in Minya, south of Cairo Tuesday. The congregation was conducting a service ahead of the Coptic Christmas which falls on Wednesday this year. The indigenous Coptic Christians make up about one-tenth of the Egypt’s population of around 85 million.
