Hagel: No facts support spying allegations against Israel

US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel said on Thursday: “I'm not aware of any facts that would substantiate the report" – when asked at a news conference in Tel Aviv about the Newsweek allegations that Israel was spying on the United States. Israel officials reacted furiously to the story calling it a malicious calumny.
