Haifa University launches new Shanghai campus

The university of Haifa and China’s East China Normal University (ECNU) have launched a joint campus of 4,500 sq. m. in the Zizhu International Education Park of Shanghai. It will be devoted to innovative inter-disciplinary studies in such fields as bio-medicine, brain research and the environment. Education Minister Naftali Bennett lauded the extraordinary “meeting of minds between the great Chinese people and Israel’s scientific excellence.” Haifa U President Prof. Ron Rubin hailed the bilateral academic venture between two great universities as leading the way to groundbreaking applied scientific research in many fields, like bio-statistics, exploration of the brain and behavioral studies.

    1 billion and a half, and they don’t like Muslim unrest?
    These mysteries of brain and behavior are to be dully studied.
