Half a dozen rockets fired into Israel from Gaza
After weeks of relative calm, the Palestinians fired from the Gaza Strip half a dozen rockets before dawn Tuesday. The Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepted two; another pair exploded in residential areas in the Lachish and Beersheba areas and two more in the Western Negev. No immediate reports of casualties or damage. Warning sirens were heard by Negev communities from the Gaza Strip environs up to Beersheba.
