Hamas breaches ceasefire, shoots 11 rockets by mid-afternoon
While Israel observed the Gaza ceasefire, Hamas had fired 11 rockets at the Israeli population by mid-afternoon Monday, targeting Kiryat Malachi, Netivot, the Eshkol District and Ashkelon. Some were intercepted, none cause casualties. There is a rising outcry against the ceasefire. The mayors and council heads of all the southern towns and villages most heavily battered by Hamas rockets over the years have formed a protest front against the halt in IDF operations. “Only half the job is done,” they say. “Even after destroying terror tunnels, the rockets are still flying!”
