Hamas claims rocket attack on Greater Tel Aviv
Hamas rocket fire in breach of the ceasefire continued into Tuesday night, targeting Beersheba for the second time, followed by Rishon Lezion and Bat Yam in the greater Tel Aviv area, where rocket fragments damaged vehicles and set one of fire. Another was aimed at Ben Gurion airport and was intercepted by Iron Dome over Modiin. Hamas military wing claimed responsibility for firing Fajr 5 and M-75 missiles to central Israel. The IDF Home Command ordered shelters opened in all locations within 80 km of the Gaza Strip after 30 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip between Tuesday afternoon and midnight. The last round was aimed at Kerem Shalom, site of the border crossing, through which trucks bearing essentials for the Gaza population pass every day. No casualties were reported.
