Hamas-Jihad delegation leaves Gaza for talks in Cairo

Hamas and Jihad envoys left Gaza Tuesday through the Rafah crossing to Egypt, to take part in indirect negotiations with Israel in Cairo for a long-term halt in hostilities. Hamas is represented by Imad al Alami, the organization’s liaison officer with Tehran, and Khalil al-Haya, an associate of its military wing.
