Hamas reports death of weapons smuggler, but IDF says he is alive
One of Israel's top generals said Thursday that a senior member of Hamas linked to the ISIS affiliate in the Sinai Peninsula is alive and receiving medical treatment in Gaza, despite claims by Hamas that he was killed. Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai, Israel's coordinator of government activities in the territories, added that the attempts by Hamas to use lies to conceal its smuggling cooperation with ISIS in the Sinai does not go unnoticed by Israel.
Balal Brahama, a senior Hamas weapons smuggler, is actually receiving a salary from the military wing of the terrorist organization and is currently being taken care of by a member of the military wing who is the Hamas liaison with ISIS figures in the Sinai.
