Hamas rockets launched two hours into Israel’s ceasefire

Two hours after Israel’s unilateral humanitarian ceasefire when into effect Monday, 23 Palestinian rockets and mortar rounds were fired at Kerem Shalom, Shear Hanegev and Ahskelon shore district. The IDF returned the fire aimed at Kerem Shalom.  The truce which began at 10 a.m. to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid and for displaced Palestinians to return to their homes, ends at 5 p.m. IDF denies the Palestinian charge of an air strike on Shati after the ceasefire went into effect and says the strike took place earlier Monday.
