Hamas sends boats to break Israel’s sea barrier

A 15-boat Palestinian flotilla set sail Monday from Gaza waters to break the maritime barrier Israel has built to shield its coast from terrorist attack. The Israeli navy is on hand. In northern Gaza, rioting Palestinians burned tires near the Israeli border fence until they were dispersed by the IDF. This was the fourth day in a row of violent Hamas disturbances in the Gaza Strip.
