Hamas starts shooting guided missiles. Three hits in Sderot

Hamas achieved three direct hits of buildings in Sderot with three guided missiles in a dangerous escalation early Thursday of its attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip. There were no casualties but buildings were badly damaged. Even so, Israel’s response was confined to 15 air strikes which again hit evacuated buildings. Still before 8 a.m., the Palestinians responded with another six rockets, of which Iron Dome intercepted two. Wednesday, they fired a total of 30 rockets and mortar rounds.
