Hamas will be destroyed by ‘crushing blow’ if it attacks Israel, PM says
Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu said Thursday during a visit to the city of Sderot, located near the Gaza border, that Operation Protective Edge in 2014 had given Israel two of its quietest years in the last decade. He added that "Quiet for us equals quiet in Gaza. We will respond forcefully to any attempt to attack Israeli communities. An attack against Israel will bring about the ruin and destruction of the Hamas….It will be a crushing blow." He made the comments at a ceremony marking the completion of a project to build more protected rooms in the city.
