Hariri says he will return to Beirut very soon

In his first public statement since resigning as Lebanese prime minister last week, Saad Hariri rebutted rumors hat he was being held in Saudi Arabia against his will and said he was free and would return to Lebanon very soon and submit his resignation in a constitutional manner. He explained his flight by saying “the Syrian regime does not want me alive and a lot of parties do not want Saad Hariri.” He added: “I know that I have resigned in an unusual fashion, but I had to take some security precautions. My aim was to deliver a positive shock.” The recorded Hariri interview was broadcast over Saudi TV Sunday night. Hariri went on to say that he is in fear of his life and also in fear of Lebanon’s future. Saudi King Salman regards him as a son and he in good relations with Crown Prince Muhammad, although they don’t agree on everything. “I am not against Hizballah as a political party,” said the former Lebanese prime minister. “But that does not mean that it is permissible for Hizballah to ruin Lebanon.”

Now this Hariri got me very much confused! It is “political party” or “islamic army”?

Just wait until Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin finish negotiating. We’;ll see what deal they have for the Middle-East.
