Harshest ever UN sanctions await North Korea

For its third nuclear test, North Korea is in for the toughest sanctions the UN has ever imposed under a US-Chinese draft resolution before the UN Security Council, said US Ambassador Susan Rice Tuesday. Those penalties would further impede the growth of North Korea’s nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles programs and hopefully be passed unanimously, said Rice.
