Head of Al Qaeda in Yemen killed by US drone strike – report

The commander of Al Qaeda's affiliate in Yemen, Jalal Belaidi, was reported killed in an airstrike by a US unmanned aerial vehicle on Thursday morning. US reports said the attack occurred as Beladi was traveling in a vehicle with two bodyguards in the southern part of the country.
