Head of ISIS chemical weapons development captured in Iraq: sources

Iraqi intelligence sources were quoted as saying Wednesday that Sleiman Daoud al-Afari, leader of the ISIS network for developing chemical weapons, was captured by US special forces troops in the Tal Afar area of northern Iraq about a month ago. He previously served as a biological and chemical weapons specialist for the regime of Saddam Hussein at the end of the 1980s. The capture is part of the Obama's administration's new doctrine of "surgical" special forces operations to eliminate or capture key ISIS leaders.
