Heaviest fighting yet in Damascus

Clashes between government forces and Free Syrian Army rebels are coming closer to the heart of the regime’s power in Damascus than ever before. Residents began fleeing some parts of the capital Sunday night as government tanks and mortars pounded encroaching rebel forces.
