Heavy barrage on Greater Tel Aviv after 90 rockets hit southern Israel

.After 90 rockets battered southern Israel during the whole of Saturday, the 48th day of Israel’s counter-terror offensive, Hamas launched a barrage against Tel Aviv and outlying towns. Iron Dome saved built-up areas from casualties, after earlier shielding Beer Tuvia, Gan Yavne, Netivot, Kiryat Malachi, Hof Ashkelon and the Eshkol District. Fires broke out and substantial damage was incurred. Israel carried out 60 air strikes against terrorist targets, including the razing of a 12-floor building at the center of Gaza City, after dropping a small rocket on the roof to warn occupants to evacuate.
