Heavy Hamas rocket bombardment two hours after “truce”

Ashkelon, Sderot, Eshkol District, Shehar Hanegev, Asdod, Gan Yavne and other Israeli locations were under heavy rocket attack from Gaza two hours after the Israeli cabinet accepted the Egyptian initiative for a mediated ceasefire off the Gaza conflict effective from Tuesday 9 a.m.  Hamas turned the Egyptians down flat.

The first rockets hit Eshkol before 9.30 a.m. Ten were fired in the latest bombardment. No casualiltes are reported. In approving the ceasefire, the Israeli security cabinet vowed to respond with all possible force if the rocket barrage continued.
