Hebron shooting trial adjourns until Monday

The trial of IDF Sgt. Elor Azaria over the shooting of a subdued terrorist in Hebron adjourned on Thursday afternoon after a day of testimony by defense witnesses. In the morning, a senior paramedic for Israel's Magen David Adom emergency medical service testified that there was chaos on the scene before Azaria opened fire, with people shouting that the terrorist had yet to be subdued. The paramedic was followed by Azaria's deputy company commander who testified that he heard the company commander, the battalion commander and the brigade commander say that Azaria had lied. The trial will resume on Monday morning.
