Hebron soldier’s “open arrest” extended by a week
An IDF court Thursday extended by seven days the "open arrest" of the soldier who shot and killed and "neutralized" a terrorist in Hebron. The prosecution had earlier demanded his remand in a military jail. This was overruled first by a military court, then an appeals judge. The soldier was also transferred back to his own base, pending trial on a charge that was reduced from murder to manslaughter.
