Herzog vows to be president for all
“I promise to be president for all, to heed every opinion and respect every person, to build bridges at home and for our brothers and sisters in other countries, “ Yitzhak Herzog vowed after the Knesset awarded him a victory of 87 votes as Israel’s next president versus to the 28-vote support for his rival, Miriam Peretz. Herzog also underlined the need to fight antisemitism and hate for Israel.
