High security alert for broad anti-Abbas disturbances on the West Bank

Palestinian security forces went on high alert Wednesday ready for demonstrations Thursday against the Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and America in the main West Bank towns. Israeli forces are also on the ready in case the disturbances spill over against Israeli targets. Left-wing young groups in partnership with Hamas elements are rallying he demonstrations in hopes of igniting an Arab Spring on the West Bank. Mohammed Dahlan, whom Abbas stripped of all his honors, is also pulling wires behind it.
