Hillary Clinton takes leave of campaign team

In comments in her first public appearance since losing the presidential election, Hillary Clinton told her supporters Wednesday that she had offered to work with Donald Trump “for the success of our country.” Losing the election was painful, she said, but taking leave of her team, she urged them to continue to work and fight for what they believe in. “We owe it to the new president an open mind and chance to lead,” she said, to standing ovations and cheers.
