Hizballah attacks IDF with roadside bomb, antitank weapons

A roadside bomb exploded next to an IDF patrol in the Shebaa Farms area at the base of Mt. Hermon on Sunday afternoon. None of the soldiers were injured and there was no damage from the bomb, which was activated by remote control. Hizballah took responsibility for the attack. Lebanese media quoted Hizballah sources as saying that the roadside bomb targeted a civillian vehicle carrying a senior figure from the Israeli security establishment.
In response to the attack, the IDF bombed Hizballah targets in south Lebanon. Lebanese sources said the shells hit the city of al-Wazzani.
Hizballah forces also fired antitank weapons at IDF forces in the Hermon area, and the IDF reponded with tank fire.
