Hizballah commander killed in Beirut after Nasrallah speaks
The Lebanese Shiite Hizballah reported that one of its commanders was killed outside his Beirut home and immediately blamed Israel. The statement said that Hajj Hassan Hollo al-Laqqis was killed around midnight in the Hadath district. It gave no details of the incident except to say “the accusation is directed at the enemy, Israel.” A few hours earlier, Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused Saudi Arabia of being behind the suicide bombings at the Iranian embassy in Beirut on Nov. 19.
