Hodgkinson had a Republican hit list recovered by FBI

The FBI has contacted a group of Republican congressmen to warn them they were on a hit list found in the pocket of James Hodgkinson, the shooter who opened fire on dozens of Republican congressmen and staffers at a baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia, on Wednesday, and critically injured House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. The gunman died after being shot by a member of Scalise’s security detail.

The hit list indicates that the shooting was not a random outburst of hate, but part of a premeditated political mass assassination campaign against conservative Republicans.
