Hollywood Oscars ceremony postponed because of coronavirus

The annual Oscars award ceremony will now be held on April 25, 2021, eight weeks later than planned because of the coronovirus’ devastating effects on the movie industry. Thousands of members of Israel’s entertainment industry, actors, theater staff, singers, musicians and others have been clashing with police in violent anti-government demonstrations. Many are in desperate straits after three months going into a fourth without income and no government aid.
