Home of Neve Yaacov terrorist sealed off overnight

Security forces evacuated and sealed off the home of Alqam Khayri who murdered 7 Israelis Friday night at the Neve Yaacov synagogue in the deadliest Palestinian terror attack since 2008

Dozens of his relatives are in custody as suspected accomplices, as is the family of the 13-year-old Palestinian boy who shot and wounded 2 Israelis at Siluan, one of whom shot and injured him. He was sent to hospital and interrogated. Stringent counter-measures were approved for the immediate term at the Netanyahu government’s first security cabinet meeting Saturday night, including the withdrawal of National Security and other social benefits from members of terrorists’ families.

Heightened security, especially in Jerusalem and other mixed towns was imposed by the army and police chiefs, in expectation of more attacks.
